Quechua was born to a Peruvian import, 5Peruvian Aymara 8708 while she was still in quarantine, so his sire is unknown. Quechua carries the genes from the Allianza Co-operative and Conchatanca area of Peru - long known for their colored, fine-fibered alpacas.
This herd sire has been our top producing male. Quechua produces large-boned, strong, healthy crias with super-fine, colored fleeces, & presence! They are raking in the ribbons at the shows, too. Recently his daughter, Quechua's Delight, took Reserve Color Championship at the SEPA 2006 show.
