It’s clear when you see her sire, Sweetheart gets her thick bone, wide chest, great capacity, straight back, and muscle from Gibraltar. Gibraltar of FJA is a powerhouse- both genetics and phenotype. Gibraltar descends from generations of elite Snowmass genetics! He is out of 5X champion Snowmass Best in Velvet (whose offspring have earned a judge's choice awards and amassed numerous color championships.) His lineage also boasts of: Snowmass Velvet Touche, Snowmass Best in Velvet, Snowmass Best Man, CSAF Peruvian Grand Gigi, AML El Duro’s Principio Victor’s Vaccoyo, PPeruvian Victor, Accoyo PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, Accoyo PPeruvian Camillo, and 4P Legacy. His well aligned pedigree gave him phenomenal fleece! Incredible density, superior fineness, uniformity, and long staple are the hallmarks of his fleece. It also has moderately high frequency & high amplitude to the crimp style. The Gibraltar offspring have just started appearing in the showring and they are impressive. Gibraltar himself received the coveted Judge's Choice trophy at the 2018 Buckeye Fall Fest. He has also been recognized with 3X Color Championships during his stellar show career. Gibraltar passed on his density, excellent fineness, and fleece character to Sweetheart.

Gibraltar’s Sweetheart is also named after her dam, Satin Sweetheart, a beautiful true black champion female sired by Estates Satin Cloud. Satin Cloud is an outstanding 8x Champion true black herdsire residing in Europe, making these genetics very limited. Satin Sweetheart is also a 1/2 sister to 26x Champion, Estates Stradivarius and our champion herdsire Estates Satin Sebastian. Satin Sweetheart has a pedigree loaded with black genetics, including Snowmass Satin Reserve XX, Nisho, The Reverend Mr. Black, and Premier’s Adriana.

Gibraltar’s Sweetheart really does have all the traits lined up! Her fleece displays amazing fineness and uniformity. Micro staples and zippered high-frequency crimp are very appealing along with great brightness and long staple. The handle is sublime. Sweetheart showed with cria tips in Spring of 2024, but we are excited to show her off for the beauty that she is this fall. It’s hard to part with such a beautiful female. She comes with full farm warranties and her maiden breeding to any soley owned herdsire at ACE. We would choose Amber Autumn Ringmaster or Patagonia Estates Sakima, who is closed.
