What a Great Year It Has Been!
Here are some of the highlights:
Badger Canyon’s Laszlo by Bram was awarded an AOA 2024 Invited Champion certificate.
We launched the Badger Canyon Farm online store.
We attended CABA and took home multiple banners. We welcomed Crescent Moon’s Tell Me Slowly (Lily), Thor Farms Challenge Accepted (Ace), and Infinitos Callahan to the herd!
We attended GWAS and returned home with 1 banner won by Ace and many blue ribbons.
We welcomed 8 new crias, starting in May with Badger Canyon’s Atlas by Laszlo and ending in September with Badger Canyon’s Destined Prince
We entered fleeces in the National Fleece Show! Crescent Moon’s Tell Me Slowly (Lily), Badger Canyon’s Sweet Alora and Badger Canyon’s Destined King were all champions. We also were awarded the Breeders Cup.
We submitted fleeces to the PAOBA fleece show, and Alora and King championed.
We attended EDU in OR, where we purchased our newest herd sire, Crescent Moon’s Nicaeus.
We entered the PNAA IFA Show. Alora won a championship, Most Uniform, and Best Bred and Owned! King won a reserve championship, and Badger Canyon’s Rosalio won a reserve championship. Badger Canyon’s Angel’s Grace won a Color Championship and a Longevity Award.
We entered the CALPACA Fleece Show, where Alora, King, and Ace won banners. The highlight was Ace earning his 1st Judge's Choice, Best Hand, and Spirit of the Industry awards!
We attended AlpacaFestNW. Ace championed in both halter shows and walking fleece. He also won both judge’s choice awards. Alora bannered in both halter shows and won her 1st judge’s choice. King and Nicaeus both bannered!
We attended the CALPACA show where Alora, Ace, King, and Nicaeus bannered!
We submitted fleeces to the A-OK blast-off show, where King bannered, and Angel’s Elegance won best brightness!
We volunteered at the AOA judges’ training clinic in OR.
We purchased Estates Danish Silver Mermaid.
